Leadership Experience
Description
I do my part to collaborate with other professionals in order to advance schoolwide goals. I served on Harborside Academy's High-Quality Work Leadership Team for five years, and have previously served on its Literacy Team. As a leadership team member, I led staff through high-quality work protocols and created surveys to gather data on students' understanding of high-quality work in order to inform the direction of future professional development. Recently, I worked with leadership from Harborside Academy and EL Education to create a website that houses Harborside's credentialing portfolio. My work with students has also been used to represent Harborside on EL Education's Models of Excellence website.
Beyond those opportunities, I have also designed and led workshops on tech-inspired instructional ideas and school newspaper advising tips at regional conferences, including the Kettle Morraine Press Association (KEMPA) Scholastic Journalism Fall Conference and the Illinois State University "Teaching in the 21st Century" Conference.

Harborside Academy Credentialing Portfolio
I collaborated with Harborside Academy leadership to create this website, for which I designed all of the layout, graphics, and data visualizations. In Fall 2020, Harborside administrators presented this website to EL Education leadership in order to help the school get recredentialed with the organization.
