Tech-Driven Student Work: Welcome

Description

Over the years, I have designed and facilitated many activities and assessments that use educational technology to enhance learning and facilitate the design of high-quality work. I am proud of the work that my students have created and feel that it speaks to the power of leveraging instructional technology in an intentional way. In my experience, this has always resulted in amazing final products. Explore the work samples below to see what my students have accomplished over time.

"The Pesticide Problem at Home" by Michael G.

Michael G. created this booklet for a final project I designed for my 11th grade English students. The project asked them to create a high-quality, research-based booklet that presents information about a specific problem in today’s food system and a solution to that problem that is sustainable and small-scale. Students then presented their booklets to a local community action agency as a service to the community. This project was featured on EL Education's Models of Excellence website.
