Continuing Education: Welcome

Description

As a graduate student in Arizona State University's Learning Design & Technology M.Ed. program, I learned to leverage digital technology and the latest research on learning to create engaging eLearning materials, instructional design plans, and learner-centered visual communications. I also refined my ability to conduct meaningful research in the field, especially with respect to social learning theory and methods of increasing social connectedness in online courses. Keeping my knowledge current in the field of instructional technology is crucial, as it is changing all the time in new and exciting ways. The projects below represent just a few of the many valuable learning experiences I have had in this program.

I have also completed training to achieve Level 1 and Level 2 Certified Educator status from Google. As part of the training, I learned how to use all of the features of GSuite for Education programs as well as other innovative technologies designed to enhance learning and productivity both in and out of the classroom. Access my certification credentials below.

EDT 502 Instructional Design Plan

For this project, I worked with a team of other students to create an instructional design plan for an hour-long mental health workshop for teens. The plan includes a performance analysis, learner analysis, task analysis, instructional sequence, participant materials, and an instructor handbook.
